Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Astrology: Taurus sun and rising, Capricorn moon, Aries Venus, Leo Mars.

How long have you been doing art? “Cliche artist answer, but ever since I could hold a pencil. My mama would buy me spiral notebooks when I was about 5 or 6, and I would use them to draw comics.”

When did you start practicing witchcraft? “I was a sad little 14 year old, depression was gnawing constantly at me, and I spent all my lunches in the library. So naturally, I got curious about the book on Wicca that I found one lunch period in 2007. I found some websites on witchcraft later that day, and I dove right in. It really saved my life at that time.”

What is your creative process? “I’m very chaotic when starting. I have to have the perfect podcast or audiobook or music chosen, I have to have a drink with me (usually iced coffee), and I have to make sure everything I need is within reach so I don’t have to break my flow. Once that is done, it can take me a bit to really get into it. I’ll take one too many stretch breaks or pace for a bit. Sometimes this part of my process takes a while, but as I have ADHD I basically just have to let it pass, gently sit myself back down and try again. Eventually, I do get into it and reach flow state, and I can stay painting or drawing for hours.”

Do you take personal commissions? “Yes, but I can be a little picky about what kinds of jobs I can take on. If you’re looking to commission me, send me an email to cabreradaniela@yahoo.com with a description of what you would like, and we can talk!”
